The Mission

Considering the following facts: with the steady progress in the efforts of deepening the reform and furthering the opening-up, China is playing a more and more important role on the political, economic and cultural stage in the world; withthe increasing needs in the course of development, European countries, especially EU Member States expect to keep the good communication and implement the successful cooperation with China, in the light of the principles of “seeking the common ground while reserving difference” and “making progress hand in hand”, ECMDC aims to use culture as the form of bonding in order to dispel misunderstanding and reach the consensus between European and Chinese people, which will lay the foundation for their mental preparation for the future economic cooperation; ECMDC resorts to the economic cooperation as an efficient form in order to promote the friendship and mutual understanding between European and Chinese people, which will set the concrete basis for their mutual cultural recognition; ECMDC relies on the sciences and technologies as the entry point in order to further the partnership and mutual benefits between European and Chinese people, which will consolidate the sustainable development for their everlasting welfare,

Henceforth, since its establishment, ECMDC, the European NGO aims to become the information exchange channelfor EU Headquarters, EU Member States and the Chinese government at different levels; to become thecooperation platform for people-to-people culturaldiplomacy and the economic, sci-tech partnership bridge between European and Chinese enterprises.
