On April 18th, 2015, Mr. ZHANG Yi left Rome for Venice in the companionship of Mr. Giorgio Casadei, Senior Advisor of the Commission and Ms. Giada WU Wenci, Director of Italian Liaison Office of the Commission and had the field investigation on the high-quality tourist real estate project of Venice on the same day.

Mr. ZHANG Yi and his companions were invited to visit Albarella Island, which is to the south of Venice City with 30 minutes’driving distance to the downtown of Venice. Mr. ZHANG Yi inspected all the tourist facilities on this famous recreational island with the remarkable scenery. Albarella Island is the private property of Marcegaglia family and enjoys the high reputation in Venice.

She said, she was open-minded and expected to carry out the cooperation in any forms with the Commission. Mr. ZHANG Yi introduced the plan of the Commission to hold the international symposium on the topic of building core areas of the Belt and Road in September of this year and he invited Ms. Emma Marcegaglia, the important figure in the circle of Italian industry and commerce to attend this symposium. Ms. Emma Marcegaglia gladly received the invitation.
