On May 30th, 2015, Mr. ZHANG Yi headed the Delegation to visit Asociacion de Fomento de la Colaboracion Economica y Tecnologica entre Espana y China (ACEC) in Madird, Spain at the invitation. Mr. ZHANG Yi held the meeting with Mr. Marco WANG, Executive President of ACEC and jointly signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement.

ACEC was founded in 2000 at the proposal by Chinese Embassy in Spain and the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism of Spain with their support. The mission of ACEC is to only recruit as its members Spanish companies that enjoy the high reputation and have the willingness to cooperate with Chinese counterparts and those social celebrities who exert great influence in Spain. ACEC aims to promote the exchange between Spain and China in the fields of economy, technology and culture through the strong network of its members. Mr. Marco WANG, Executive President of ACEC is a prestigious person in Spain. 

Mr. Marco WANG expressed his welcome to Mr. ZHANG Yi and his companion. He pointed out that as the platform that facilitated the understanding and communication between Spain and China, ACEC was quite identical with the Commission in many fields. Since the Chinese government was promoting the national policy of the Belt and Road, the cooperation between ACEC and the Commission would surely be very significant. 

Mr. ZHANG Yi extended his gratitude to the warm reception from Mr. Marco WANG and remarked, both parties had carried out lots of communication and indicated the clear intention of carrying out the cooperation in the fields of economic cooperation, cultural exchange and technological collaboration. The purpose of this visiting was to confirm the strategic partnership and the Commission was quite willing to join hands with ACEC in the work of substantiating the national policy of the Belt and Road through the concrete projects and promoting the mutual understanding between Chinese and Spanish people by virtue of the actual implementation of economic cooperation and cultural exchange. 

On the basis of consensus and good intention, the Commission and ACEC signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement.
