On November 1^st, 2015, Mr. ZHANG Yi paid a visit to Mr. ZHANG Guangzhi, Vice Governor of Henan Provincial Government at his office.

Mr. ZHANG Yi presented the recent follow-up work of the Commission in the wake of 2015 Songshan Forum. He reported to Mr. ZHANG Guangzhi in details concerning the annual conference of National Association of Italian Municipalities on October 19^th. The Commission, China International Culture Exchange Center and Cosenza Provincial Government of Italy have been carrying out the related work of constructing the new union between European and Chinese cities, which was the intellectual product of 2015 Songshan Forum. Mr. ZHANG Yi indicated the fact that this union would become a platform, through which cities across Henan Province would have more direct and efficient channel to access the high-quality cooperation projects from European counterparts.

Mr. ZHANG Guangzhi extended his gratitude to Mr. ZHANG Yi’s effort of promoting Songshan Forum in the world and facilitating the external cooperation for Henan Province. He was glad to see that the proposal presented at 2015 Songshan Forum was gradually becoming the tangibleproject and effort, which would surely become an innovative pattern and serve the Belt and Road construction of Henan Province. He expected Henan culture would be known by more foreign friends and local enterprises of Henan would enter the European market owing to the efforts of the Commission.

Mr. ZHANG Yi remarked, the Commission stood ready to serve industrious and kind Henan natives and would actively coordinate with the work of Henan Provincial Government in order to construct the long-term mechanism of two-way exchange and tourism between Henan Province and European regions. Mr. ZHANG Yi proposed that the Commission would contact the local governments of important regions of Italy, Spain and Belgium and carry out the communication with these governments in the first place;henceforth, the Delegation of Henan Provincial Government would have the field investigation; afterwards, Henan Provincial Government could sign the cooperation agreements concerning the cultural and tourist exchange with the local governments of three countries. He said, this arrangement and the ensuing agreements would become the shining points of international cooperation at 2016 Songshan Forum. Mr. ZHANG Guangzhi seconded Mr. ZHANG Yi’s proposal and entrusted the latter with the related work.
