On November 18^th, 2015, at the invitation of the Municipal Government, Mr. ZHANG Yi visited Dongying City of Shandong Province. Mr. ZHANG Yi signed the Agreement of Strategic Partnership with Mr. LI Junfeng, Vice Mayor of Dongying City.

Signing the Agreement of Strategic Partnership

Dongying City is in the northeastern region of Shandong Province and at the estuary where Yellow River joins the sea. The total area of Dongying City is 7923 square meters and the population is 2.1 million. Dongying City is the seat of the famous oil field of China, Shengli Oil Field. The City begins with the oil drilling and gradually develops to become the industrial city including petrochemical engineering, mechanic manufacturing, high and new technology. In the meanwhile, Dongying boasts of the famous wetland with the stunning natural beauty. This is the city with vitality and high-quality lifestyle.

The Meeting

Mr. ZHANG Yi held the meeting with Mr. LI Junfeng, Vice Mayor of Dongying City over the issue of cooperation. Mr. LI firstly introduced the current situation of Dongying and her fortes. He said, although Dongying City was a new city, she forged ahead with the determination and had made the impressive achievements in the multiple industries; Dongying natives were hospitable to new friends and ready to realize the win-win situation through the joint efforts. Mr. LI remarked, it was expected to enable Dongying City to make better progress through the channel ofthe Commission and the cooperation as for European high-quality resources.

Mr. ZHANG Yi presented the mission and important tasks of the Commission in details. He pointed out that the Commission had chosen several high-quality projects for Dongying City with the coverage of scientific innovation, cultural exchange and economic cooperation; all these high-quality projects were from international authoritative institutions and the ensuing implementations would surely further the sustainable development of Dongying economy in an active way.  

Mr. LI intently followed the specifications of the concerned projects; then he commented that these projects were just what Dongying was in need of. He extended his gratitude to the devoted efforts of Mr. ZHANG Yi as for Dongying City. Mr. LI believed that the cooperation between both parties would be very significant for the future of Dongying.

Mr. ZHANG Yi stated, the Commission was very glad to offer good advices and introduce high-quality resources to Dongying on the reliance of its own advantages with a view to assistingDongying in the work of implementing the New Silk Road policy.

Afterwards, both parties signed the Agreement of Strategic Partnership.

Mr. ZHANG Yi also held the meeting with Mr. SHEN Changyou, Secretary of Dongying Municipal Committee of CPC. After Mr. SHEN followed the report of the road map drawn by the Commission as for the cooperation, he expected the concerned projects to be implemented soon and offered his blessing for the future successful cooperation.
