On November 5^th, 2015, Mr. ZHANG Yi, Mr. XU Wenxin and Mr. GU Qing met with Mr. YE Jisong, Director of Administrative Committee of Dongqian Lake Tourist & Holiday Resort of Ningbo, Mr. SU Shaomin, Deputy Director of Administrative Committee of Dongqian Lake Tourist & Holiday Resort of Ningbo and Mr. XU Wanmao, Board Chairman of Huamao Group in Dongqian Lake of Ningbo. The concerned parties held the assessment meeting as for the tentative international forum and reached the intent of cooperation.

Dongqian Lake is the name card of Ningbo City. With the gorgeous natural beauty and rich historic relics, Dongqian Lake is also the largest freshwater lake in Zhejiang Province. The area of the lake is 200,000 square meters, which is more than three times than West Lake of Hangzhou. In 2015, Dongqian Lake has won the distinctive honor of the National Tourist & Holiday Resort and has become the bench mark in China.

The Assessment Meeting

At the assessment meeting, the Commission expounded the designing principle for the tentative forum. It has been specified that in China, the self-owned branding, the designing and the art education are comparatively weak, which has hampered the improvement of Chinese manufacturing. Since there exists the urgent need to realize the leapfrog progress through the joint efforts with European high-quality cooperation, it will be good timing for the concerned parties to hold the international forum whose mission is to provide the solution plan to realize the economic transformation and industrial upgrading in China. In the meanwhile, Ningbo City aims to turn the city to be “the Capital of Branding” and “the Capital of Designing” in order to realize the progress of local economy at the new normal age, the tentative forum will become the forum-oriented think tank which will boost the development of Ningbo.

Mr. YE Jisong and Mr. SU Shaomin presented their own opinions from the perspective of Administrative Committee of Dongqian Lake Tourist & Holiday Resort in succession and detailed the positioning of the tentative forum. With the present distinctive honor Dongqian Lake has owned as the basis, the Administrative Committee expected Dongqian Lake to be known in the world in order to upgrade the value of brand of Dongqian Lake itself. Henceforth, they hoped that the concerned parties would utilize the tentative forum as the carrier and the tangible projects as the entry points and realize the ultimate purpose after the steady progress.

Mr. XU Wanmao presented his expectation as for the tangible projects and the future development of the tentative forum from the perspective of Huamao Group. He pointed out that Huamao has been devoted to art education of China for decades and constructed several art museums which would surely boost the development of art education. He said, the high-end art education resources that would be introduced into China through this forum would be undoubtedly beneficial to the future development of Ningbo City.

Mr. XU Wenxin remarked, he was very glad to know that the concerned parties had the explicit intention of cooperation as for the tentative forum. He proposed that the concerned parties sign the letter of intent in the first place and form the working committee in order to carry out the detailed evaluation and designing as for the forum. Mr. ZHANG Yi seconded Mr. XU Wen Xin’s opinion and indicated the willingness of the Commission to fully cooperate with the Administrative Committee and Huamao Group in order to turn the tentative forum to become the international forum with great influence and significance in the world.

The concerned parties finalized the related issues of presenting the letter of intent and other ensuing works.

Afterwards, Mr. ZHANG Yi and the delegation members had the field investigation of the multiple tourist facilities of Dongqian Lake with the companionship of Mr. SU Shaomin. During the process of investigation, Mr. ZHANG Yi and his companions were amazed at the gorgeous beauty of Dongqian Lake.
