From November 26^th to 28^th, 2015, at the invitation of the County Government, Mr. ZHANG Yi visited Jiashan, Zhejiang Province and attended 2015 Jiashan Forum of the Yangtze River Delta General Aviation Industry Development & the Summit Forum of China National General Aviation Enterprises Union. After his field investigation, Mr. ZHANG Yi has reached the consensus as for Sino-European cooperation with Jiashan County Government.

Jiashan County is under the jurisdiction of Jiaxing City. Being the contiguous region with Shanghai city and possessing the unparalleled regional advantages, Jiashan nestles at the heart of the Yangtze River Delta with the equal distance of one hour’s drive to four important cities, namely, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo and Suzhou. Jiashan is literally matched with the meaning of “beautiful place, kind-hearted people” in Chinese and is the prosperous region ever since the ancient times. With the gorgeous scenic beauty, Jiashan boasts of the world-renowned ancient town, Xitang. What is more, Jiashan is the native town of numerous famous historic figures. All of these have justified that Jiashan is the place with beautiful scenery and remarkable people. In 2013, Jiashan has become the First Scientific Development County Model in China with the peculiarly unique position and the exemplary influences.

On November 26^th, Mr. ZHANG Yi arrived in Jiashan and met with Ms. XU Qing, Secretary of Jiashan County Committee of CPC and Mr. QI Hailong, County Mayor of Jiashan. Both parties have discussed the road map as for the issues how Jiashan managed to avail itself of the sci-tech innovation in order to promote its scientific development at the new normal age; how Jiashan managed to take the lead in the innovative development and set the example to the others through the seamless integration between European technologies and the actual needs of local enterprises and industries; how Jiashan managed to take the pilot actions to realize the upgrading of Chinese manufacturing. Mr. ZHANG Yi made the detailed introduction to the European high-quality resources in the fields of sciences and technologies that the Commission had accumulated. Afterwards, he presented the future sci-tech innovation cooperation platform and the related road map. Ms. XU Qing and Mr. QI Hailong indicated in succession that Jiashan County expected these resources to strike the root into the County and boost the regional development, which could become the model of scientific development at the level of county.

On November 27^th, Mr. ZHANG Yi held the field investigation of Jiashan High-Speed Rail New Town of Jiashan that was under the construction and the famous ancient town, Xitang during his attendance at 2015 Jiashan Forum of the Yangtze River Delta General Aviation Industry Development & the Summit Forum of China National General Aviation Enterprises Union. He had the further understanding as for Jiashan, the region with the mixture of long history and fresh vitality.

On November 28^th, Mr. ZHANG Yi had the field investigation at Jiashan Economic and Technological Development Zone and visited the office for the future sci-tech innovation platform. Afterwards, Mr. ZHANG Yi held the meeting with Mr. CAO Guoliang, Deputy County Mayor. Both parties carried out the detailed discussion as for the cooperation of sci-tech innovation. Mr. ZHANG Yi introduced the positioning of the sci-tech innovation platform and the related preparation. The working staff of the Commission explicated the feasibility of the project and pointed out the incoming benefits and significance since the implementation of the project. Mr. CAO Guoliang raised the detailed questions as for the concrete actions of implementing the project in order to ensure the success through multiple perspectives. Mr. LU Chunhao, Director of Jiashan Economic and Technological Development Zone also expressed his concerns as for the actualimplementation of the project with the hope that the concerned parties seize all the favorable opportunities to improve the welfare of Jiashan in the down-to-earth spirit. Mr. ZHANG Yi remarked, the Commission would present the further detailed and optimized action plan to Jiashan County Government for the approval in the hope of the early implementation of the project in order to explore the new avenue of the sci-tech innovation cooperation between China and Europe. At the end of the meeting, both parties jointly looked forward to the sincere cooperation and the effort of strengthening the position of Jiashan as the Scientific Development County Model in China.
