The Delegation Headed by Executive Chairman ZHANG Yi Meets with Mr. Theodor Niehaus

On March 20th, 2016, Executive Chairman ZHANG Yi headed the Delegation to visit Germany and held the meeting with Mr. Theodor Niehaus, Executive Chair of WorldSkills Foundation and Ms. Grace LUNG, Project Manager of WorldSkills Foundation at 5 pm in Berlin. The concerned parties had actively explored the future cooperation model.

WorldSkills was founded in 1950 and is the authoritative institution of international professional skills with 75 national members. WorldSkills Competition which is held every two years is also described as “the Olympic Games of Professional Skills”. WorldSkills is consisted of two parallel departments. One is WorldSkills International that is in charge of all the works concerning the Competition; the other is WorldSkills Foundation that is in charge of all the projects except the Competition. Mr. ZHANG Yi firstly extended his warm welcome and gratitude to Mr. Theodor Niehaus and Ms. Grace LUNG who came specially to Berlin for this meeting. He remarked, in the past year, the Commission had kept the steady information exchange with WorldSkills and carried out the substantial marketing research and effectivepromotion as for many projects of WorldSkills in China. Owing to this fact, the Commission could work with WorldSkills to carry out projects in the chosen regions of China and make the joint contribution to the work of improving professional skills of Chinese workers in all professions.
Mr. Theodor Niehaus expressed his heartfelt thanks to the efforts of the Commission in the past year. He said, since China had the largest population of workers in the world, it was of vital significance to improve the professional skills of Chinese workers. Henceforth, WorldSkills was quite willing to join hands with Chinese partners.
Mr. YU Jiangang, Vice President of INESA said, because of the arrangement of Mr. ZHANG Yi, he had this chance to meet the officials of WorldSkills. He indicated his expectations as for the future cooperation of the concerned parties. Then, he introduced the current situation and actual needs of INESA. Mr. Theodor Niehaus and Ms. Grace LUNG introduced the structure of the organization and the working principles, and fully exchanged the views with Mr. ZHANG Yi and Mr. YU Jiangang as for the topics in which all the concerned parties were interested.
The meeting wasefficient. The concerned parties had a clear definition and explicit willingness as for the future cooperation model. Mr. ZHANG Yi extended his congratulations. He said, the Commission would consistently keep the close contact with WorldSkills and try the innovative way along with Chinese partners in the hope that every worker with the competitive professional skills be the salt of the world.
