On June 6^th, 2016, Chairman ZHANG Yi, Mr. Henrich Guntermann, CEO of European Consortium of Technology Transfer, Ms. Ingrid JIANG, Chairman of the Board of EU-China Sci-Tech Financial Center Management Co., Ltd, Mr. LIN Zhenxiong, Chairman of the Board of Shanghai Chase Financial Valley Group Co., Ltd, Mr. LI Rongpei, Managing Director of the Board and Mr. JIANG Yun, Vice President jointly pressed the button to officially establish EU-China (Shanghai) Sci-Tech Financial Center.

EU-China Sci-Tech Financial Center aims to promote the regional cooperation between Europe and China; to further the two-way interaction between the concerned European and Chinese parties during the course of the integration of science & technology and finance; and to strengthen the competitiveness of European and Chinese partners with a view to achieving the win-win cooperation through the bonding of community of interest.

EU-China Sci-Tech Financial Center will become the platform on which European and Chinese cities can construct the new interactive cooperation. In line with the market principle and by virtue of the power of capital value, the Center will accelerate the R & D process of high technologies and their utilization in the global market. The Center will further the regional development of the concerned European and Chinese sisterhood cities through the down-to-earth cooperation projects that benefit Europeans and Chinese.

EU-China Sci-Tech Financial Center joins hands with European and Chinese partners from regional governments of Europe, public sectors, sci-tech divisions, financial circles, industrial spheres and universities. The Center is the transborder open platform, which is open to any potential partners devoted to the cause of furthering the mutual understanding between Europeans and Chinese.

EU-China (Shanghai) Sci-Tech Financial Center is the comprehensive platform for Sino-European sci-tech financial cooperation which is jointly set up by ECMDC and Shanghai Chase Financial Valley Group Co., Ltd.

In his congratulating speech, Mr. ZHANG Yi remarked, the positioning of EU-China (Shanghai) Sci-Tech Financial Center was to bring the effort of learning, studying advanced European technologies to the full, which would be perfectly integrated into the vast market of China and its demands of development. The Center was focused on science and technology by virtue of the financial leverage with a view to boosting the regional economy and municipal development of Shanghai. With its gradual influences in the region of the Yangtze River Delta, the Center would surely become the benchmark of Sino-European cooperation. Mr. LIN Zhenxiong followed Mr. ZHANG Yi’s words and said, Shanghai Chase Financial Valley Group Co., Ltd would make the dedicated effort of collaborating with ECMDC in order to enable the advanced European technology to settle down at the Center and substantially further Sino-European sci-tech financial innovative cooperation. ECMDC and Shanghai Chase Financial Valley Group Co., Ltd had the full confidence of the future success of EU-China (Shanghai) Sci-Tech Financial Center.

I sincerely thank all the friends and distinguished guests who have found time to be here, Chase Shanghai Financial Valley and jointly witness the establishment of EU-China (Shanghai) Sci-Tech Financial Center. As Chairman of EU-China Municipal Development Commission and the representative of the founders, I am overwhelmed by the excitements and filled with expectations. An ancient saying flashes upon me right now, which is, the sea takes in hundreds of streams. Shanghai is the right place where hundreds of streams are converged into the sea, and is the place where open-minded people embrace the whole world. In Shanghai, European culture and Chinese civilization learn from each other and finally make the joint effort of creating Shanghai of today. To choose Shanghai, the place where the cultural harmony of China and Europe has emerged into every aspect of the city, to choose Shanghai, the city of national sci-tech center and national financial center, to choose Shanghai Chase Financial Valley Group Co., Ltd as the partner, all these choices are the important decisions made by ECMDC after several rounds of comprehensive assessment. With the right timing, right location and right people on our side, we have reasons to be fully confident. We have set the positioning of EU-China (Shanghai) Sci-Tech Financial Center, which is to bring the effort of learning, studying advanced European technologies to the full and enable these technologies to be fully integrated into the vast market of China and its demands of development. The Center will be focused on science and technology by virtue of the financial leverage with a view to boosting the regional economy and municipal development of Shanghai. With its gradual influences in the region of the Yangtze River Delta, the Center will surely become the benchmark of Sino-European cooperation. I firmly believe that, with the assistance from all the friends, the seedling of Sino-European cooperation that has been planted by us today will grow up to be the towering tree that witnesses the development of the cooperation in the new age.
