On November 4^th, 2016, Chairman ZHANG Yi and Ms. ZIxi, Chair of the Board of EU-China Municipal Development Projects Management Co., Ltd were invited to visit the Headquarters of China Craftsmanship Workshop. At the ensuing conference, Mr. ZHANG Yi signed the strategic partnership agreement with Ms. XIA Hua, Representative of China Craftsmanship Alliance.

China Craftsmanship Alliance is the cross-cutting and trans-platform association, which is initiated by China Craftsmanship Workshop. The Alliance is with the mission “Let the World Love Chinese Craftsmanship”. The Alliance aims to inherit and pass on the beauty of Chinese craftsmanship. Over 15 years, it has accumulated the rich resources of craft masters in China, established the most complete data base of Chinese craft makers and the data base for the elemental patterns of Chinese crafts. The Alliance is managed in line with commercial principles with a view to promoting the progress of Chinese craftsmanship cause, while inheriting the spirit of Chinese craftsmen.

Mr. ZHANG Yi was invited to give a speech. He appreciated the efforts the Alliance had made for the inheritance of Chinese culture, and congratulated the Alliance on its achievements. He said, ECMDC would make the full use of its unique channel for European resources to let more and more Europeans know the beauty of Chinese traditional craftsmanship, which would surely encourage more and more Chinese enterprises to participate in the effort of promoting the cause of Chinese craftsmanship. Along with the Alliance, ECMDC would construct the comprehensive channel that could integrate the training, inheritance, exhibition and marketing into one entity. ECMDC aimed to embark on the creative journey that might combine the art inheritance and commercial sustainability. In the meanwhile, ECMDC would work with the Alliance to introduce the advanced experiences of European counterparts in inheriting and protecting the tradition, and the related cooperation projects into China. ECMDC and China Craftsmanship Alliance would jointly construct EU-China Craftsmanship Alliance.
