ESCE is also an internationalized university with 180 universities of 50 countries as partners. ESCE has signed 18 double degree agreements with foreign partner universities. Among 2500 students on campus, there are 650 international students. ESCE has received EFMD Accreditation because of its academic excellence.

Professor LI Jianle expressed his welcome to the guests. He introduced that ESCE cherished the cooperation with China and had carried out the cooperation with University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China for nearly three decades. Those Chinese students who graduated from ESCE were active on the stage of the world trade. In the meanwhile, ESCE was also actively seeking the in-depth cooperation with other higher institutions of China, and stood ready to explore the new avenue for the training of international trade talents in the new economic situation.

Mr. ZHANG Yi extended his gratitude to the warm reception from Professor LI. He said, he had been familiar with the good reputation of ESCE. The purpose of this visiting was to facilitate the concrete cooperation projects concerning the partnership between ESCE and Chinese universities, the training cooperation between ESCE and Chinese entrepreneurs, and the innovation and entrepreneurship cooperation between ESCE students and Chinese youths. ECMDC had become the strategic partner to Hainan Tropical Ocean University (HTOU) and was introducing the high-quality European cooperation resources to HTOU. In the meanwhile, ECMDC had established the close partnership with Chinese sci-tech parks including the famous Suzhou Industrial Park, and was selecting the best European management training programs for entrepreneurs of those sci-tech parks. ECMDC was also engaged in the work of setting up China-EU Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base in China. All these works had laid the foundation for the forthcoming cooperation between ECMDC and ESCE.

Afterwards, Mr. HU Zhenming congratulated Professor LI on the new campus of ESCE in close proximity to Eiffel Tower, the symbol of Paris. He recalled those days when he worked with Professor LI at La Defense campus of ESCE in 2011. He said, because of the familiarity with the advantages of ESCE in the aspects of talent training, international cooperation and the academic achievements, ECMDC was actively seeking the in-depth cooperation with ESCE. ECMDC would introduce ESCE to more and more Chinese partners on reliance of the partnership between ECMDC and many Chinese cities.

Mr. ZHANG Yi, Mr. HU Zhenming and Professor LI Jianle exchanged the views as for the potential cooperation between ECMDC and ESCE. Both parties reached the preliminary consensus. ECMDC would make full use of its advantages, and recommend high-quality Chinese partners to ESCE in order to facilitate the international cooperation between ESCE and Chinese universities. ECMDC would work with ESCE, the authorities of the partner cities, sci-tech parks etc. to offer the special training programs in line with the actual demands of Chinese entrepreneurs. The programs would combine the international training and the down-to-earth business cooperation. ECMDC intended to integrate the cooperation between ECMDC and ESCE into the construction of China-EU Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base, and provide the action plan for those ESCE students who chose to study in China for a certain period, in which those students would not only receive the academic training in China, but also have the chances of do the internship, and carry out the entrepreneurship with Chinese students as well. The Base will create the conditions for ESCE students to know China, and to work with Chinese partners to open Chinese or even international market.

Both parties had set up the timeframe as for the proposal concerning the cooperation, and indicated their willingness of implementing the preparatory work. They aimed to define the in-depth partnership in 2017 and jointly undertake the designated tasks.
