Chairman ZHANG Yi Attends Beijing Summit Meeting of World Internet of Things Convention

On December 29th, 2016, Chairman ZHANG Yi attended Beijing Summit Meeting of World Internet of Things Convention, and participated in the dialogue of “IOT Innovation and IOT International Strategy” with other distinguished guests.

The topic of Beijing Summit Meeting was “To Create New Economy of IOT, To Head New Era of IOT” with the mission to popularize the concept of “World Internet of Things”. The Meeting aimed to unite with all the concerned parties to reach the consensus of IOT innovation, and gather the technological standards, projects and funds concerning IOT in the world in order to jointly create New Economy of IOT and improve the human welfare.

 

In the dialogue, Mr. ZHANG Yi discussed with distinguished guests as for the topics with the coverage of IOT innovation and its international strategy, the active interaction between IOT and the new ear of Intelligent Revolution, and the strategic opportunity for China. Mr. ZHANG Yi introduced the remarkable achievements and the related experiences that Europe had in the process of IOT construction. He said, on the occasion that China was undertaking the industrial upgrading and supply side reform, to utilize new technologies and IOT would greatly enhance the competitiveness of Chinese products and promote the construction of China’s Smart City. As a European NGO, ECMDC would like to carry out the in-depth cooperation with all the concerned parties, and select the European high-quality partners in line with the actual demands of China’s IOT development. ECMDC would like to unite all the partners to jointly construct IOT, and turn this cooperation to be the benchmark of “One Belt One Road” Technological Cooperation.

At the Meeting, Mr. ZHANG Yi met with Mr. LIU Yanshen, the distinguished professor of Central China Normal University. Mr. ZHANG Yi introduced projects concerning sci-tech innovation, vocational education and art education, which were undertaken by ECMDC. He invited Professor LIU Yanshen to participate in the development of the related projects. Both of them had fully exchanged their views as for Sino-European education cooperation, and were determined to actualize “One Belt One Road” Educational Move through tangible cooperation projects. Professor LIU Yanshen had a very positive appraisal of the achievements ECMDC had made in the field of education cooepration. He indicated his willingness of active participation in the future cooperation projects, and would work with ECMDC to jointly develop the high-quality projects within the framework of Sino-European people-to-people communication.
