From September 6^th to 7^th, 2017, Ms. Ingrid JIANG, Chairperson of the Board of EU-China Municipal Development Project Management Co., Ltd, the subsidiary company of ECMDC, Mr. WANG Jianping, Senior Vice President and Mr. TIAN Feiyang, Representative in Jiangsu Province were invited to visit Yancheng City of Jiangsu Province. ECMDC subsidiary company has discussed high-quality cooperation projects with local partners, which include the dismantling of disused cars, automobile aftermarket development and cooperation, European vocational education cooperation, the construction of small town with European distinctive features, the ocean resources development and healthcare industry cooperation. They held the in-depth discussion as for the upcoming cooperation, and reached the related consensus. ECMDC subsidiary company will work with the concerned partners of Yancheng City to jointly draw up the road maps and timetables for the specific projects. They are determined to boost the regional economy of Yancheng City by virtue of European high-quality project resources.

The Visiting of Manufacturing Factory of Dongfeng-Yueda-KIA

Yancheng City is situated in the middle of Jiangsu Province and eastern coast of China. Yancheng City is the largest prefecture-level of Jiangsu Province with the total area of 17,000 square kilometers and the permanent residents of 7.21 million. Yancheng City boasts of the longest coastline of Jiangsu Province and is a new industrial and commercial city along the coast of Jiangsu.

ECMDC subsidiary company and Yancheng partners held the in-depth discussion on the projects concerning the dismantling of disused cars and the development of automobile aftermarket. Mr. GU Guangming made the detailed introduction to the full support from Yancheng Municipal Government in the aspect of automobile industry. He remarked, Dongfeng-Yueda-KIA is the name card of Yancheng City and the economic pillar as well. Henceforth, Yancheng Municipal Government extends its warm welcome to the upcoming partnership between ECMDC subsidiary company and Yueda, and will spare no efforts to facilitate the related cooperation concerning the dismantling of disused cars and the development of automobile aftermarket.

Mr. YANG Yacheng elaborated on the future business of dismantling disused cars and ships in Binhai New Zone. He said, Binhai New Zone has demarcated a special region with the facilities to undertake this business. What is more, the Administrative Committee has entrusted a famous Chinese consulting company to present the special planning. Therefore, the advanced equipment presented by ECMDC subsidiary company is just what Binhai New Zone is seeking. The Administrative Committee expects to work with ECMDC subsidiary company to construct Sino-German Green Industry and Recycling Economy Park. The Administrative Committee will provide the special services to ensure the implementation of the cooperation project. Binhai New Zone is determined to promote the internationalized cooperation on the business of dismantling disused cars and ships, which will boost the regional economy of Yancheng City with new dynamism.

Mr. GAO Xiangwen introduced the sales of Dongfeng-Yueda-KIA, and the planning of Yueda automobile industry development. He said, the sales volume of Yueda-KIA is expected to reach new high in the following three years. In the meanwhile, Yueda Group intends to further the automobile industrial chain in a new way. Nowadays, there has been a complete automobile industrial chain, which can guarantee the whole process of manufacturing a car in Yancheng City. On the basis of this fact, Yueda Group is developing the automobile aftermarket and will dismantle, recycle those disused Dongfeng-Yueda-KIA cars that are manufactured by themselves. Henceforth, Yueda Group is keen on the partnership with ECMDC subsidiary company to import the product of German Arjes GmbH, of which ECMDC subsidiary company is the exclusive distributor in China.

Ms. Ingrid JIANG remarked, ECMDC subsidiary company and POWERCHINA Equipment Research Institute Co., Ltd have established the consortium, and are working with the local partners in different regions of China to explore the related cooperation. The consortium will import Arjes products and undertake the business of dismantling disused cars and treating construction waste. On the basis of this business, the consortium and local partners will construct Sino-German Green Industry and Recycling Economy Park. The participation of Yueda Group can serve as a good showcase for the business of dismantling disused cars in China, because Yueda Group will be the first car manufacturer that is responsible for the recycling of its own disused products. While making the full use of recycling parts of its own products, Yueda Group can establish the big data base that can provide the reference for the future automobile R & D.

Ms. Ingrid JIANG mentioned that, ECMDC has established the partnership with European car tuning companies and Spa-Francochamps Circuit, which can be potential projects with Yueda Group in order to fully develop the automobile aftermarket in Yancheng City and Jiangsu Province. ECMDC subsidiary company intends to carry out European vocational education cooperation with Yueda Group as well. ECMDC will introduce European professional certification of automobile manufacturing and other industries into Yancheng City in order to enhance its competence of professional capacity building. ECMDC subsidiary company and Yueda Group will fully tap the human capital of Yancheng automobile industry, and turn out the remarkable talents for the development of automobile aftermarket.

In the companionship with Mr. GAO Xiangwen, the Delegation of ECMDC subsidiary company made the field investigation of the working place of dismantling disused cars of Yancheng Shengyue Recycling Resources Co., Ltd. The Delegation held the meeting concerning the potential cooperation with Mr. WANG Jiacai, General Mananger of Yancheng Shengyue Recycling Resources Co., Ltd and his team. This company has the business license of dismantling disused cars in Yancheng City, while there is a great room to maneuver because of its current technology.

At the meeting, Ms. Ingrid JIANG elaborated on the technical advantages of Arjes product and the future standardization of the business of dismantling disused cars in China. Mr. GAO Xiangwen provided the further introduction to the planning of Yueda Group in the aspect of recycling its own disused cars. Mr. WANG Jiacai gladly indicated his willingness of working with ECMDC subsidiary company and Yueda Group to undertake the cooperation with mutual benefits.
